This is all about anything I have just discovered myself through reading and my own experiences. Join me as I discover new things in life, and sharing them with you guys is my great pleasure. Adventure isn't hanging on a rope off the side of a mountain. Adventure is an attitude that we must apply, to the day to day impediments of life - Facing new challenges, seizing new opportunities, testing our resources against the unknown and in the process, Discovering our own unique prospective.
Yesterday I didn't do much visiting, dropping EC's nor writing any article at all on any of my blogs. Instead, I was re-shuffling my page settings, layouts, gadgets, HTML's on my 3 blogs, and trying to be genius in working out codes, blah blah blah...,, which obviously I DO NOT KNOW! However, I wasn't that convinced that I really don't know these things, its only a matter of a "trial and error" though. I had that "self-imposed attitude" - "I MUST LEARN MYSELF, IF OTHERS DO CAN WHY CAN'T I? You know what I mean?
This was mainly the reason why I have created this blog, to be able to share new things I have discovered or learned myself through experiences.
Until in some stage, I found a better way on how to show off my other blogs on my pages (you know which shows the latest updates), which for about two weeks now that I've added just the simple links of them! Didn't know it was as simple as the photo shown below, just by simply adding widget/gadget and click add BLOG LIST which shows below, and you can un-check some options and leave those ones you want to show, and by clicking all it shows like on the 2ndand3rd photos.So I duly did, thought it was a very successful attempt or move, which I have found out in the end that my 3rd blog - Things I Did Not Know Before (this blog itself) wasn't showing any updates at all. You know what I'm talking about? As you can see below, my wedding blog is showing all the details (latest article, its first paragraph and the time I have posted it), unfortunately, the 2nd blog link doesn't.... But if as you can photo below, my other 2 blogs (Madz Life's Diary and My Beach Wedding in Mauritius) are working fine. Then I thought, uummmm if I am not mistaken there must be something to do with my FEED BURNER FEED. I have checked and yes it was (I mistakenly added the wrong feed), I have changed it and still wasn't a success!.. Don't know where and how to resolve this, I shall leave it for now until I will finally find a solution. By the way, I have checked my BLOG CATALOG and MYBLOGLOG feeds as well (they both have the same feed addresses of my 3 blogs), and I tell you what, they made me even more confused!! The fact that Blog catalog doesn't show any updates of my Wedding Blog, while on My Bloglog does. They both show updates on my Life's Journey one, but don't show any updates on this particular blog which then coincide with my original problem.
I am truly PROUD and AMAZED at the same time, to have been able to get PR3 on my both blogs!
1) The Pride of Hingotanan Bohol- which I started 18th of June '08, checked my PR sometime between late August and early September as far as I can remember (after 2 months), I was so amazed to have seen number 3!!
2) My Beach Wedding in Mauritius - was created on the 20th of JULY '08, and sometime September that was (after 2 months), I checked my PR out of curiosity, I was truly stunned and shocked!! At the beginning I just could not believe, and had to redo it plenty times to make sure it was correct and if I used the correct website to check PR before I showed if off on my blog.
Now, if you'll ask me HOW DID I MANAGE TO GET THIS HIGH RANKING?, I could not tell you exactly the secrets of SEO, but I can tell you precisely what I did this period. Do you really want to know? I know you have the idea more or less, surely much more than I do, in optimizing and improving site's ranking. But let me share with you, some practical ways I have ever done to have managed to get this rank, I just hope they all make sense to all of you:
1) On my first month of blogging, I just CONCENTRATED ON WRITING - BEING CAREFUL OF THE KEYWORDS I HAVE HAD TO USE (possible phrase or group of words people might type in when making their research, on every topic you wanted to write about!). Until after few days, I was able to collect decent amount of posts to have been qualified in Google Adsense (that was when I learned on earning money in Google Ads).
"Lesson1: Let Google be aware that you are online everyday, by making updates through writing posts. Think about of billions of people googling anything on the net! READERS ARE OUR TARGET HERE!!"
2) As soon as I was approved, I still maintained on updating my sites every single day and write article at least 1 a day, while VISITING OTHER BLOGGERS' SITES / HAVE EXCHANGED LINKS as many as I could every single day (I tried though busy at work sometimes).
"Lesson2: The more you visit other blogs and send comments, the more you'll get visitors back on your site, which eventually accumulates traffic, which then becomes always a ready-access or front-liner of Googlebot to crawl + backlinks you ought to get in exchanging links!"
3) I did submit my blogs on VARIOUS SEARCH ENGINES and BLOG SUPPORTS/COMMUNITIES, as people use various search engines in making their researches.
I haven't finished just yet, this is just the beginning of this article about HOW TO AVOID OF LOSING PAGE RANKING? Do you think I can afford to loose them, after all the efforts I've been given and mentioned points above I have taken into consideration? Of course not!!!
But how could I, while earning decent bucks in WRITING REVIEWS from advertising companies (like PayPerPost, Smorty, Blogsvertise, SponsoredReviews, BuyBlogReviews, etc)... I have already read from other bloggers, that as soon as you write reviews which obviously requires the "DISCLOSURE POLICY / SITE-WIDE DISCLOSURE", you'll eventually loose your page ranks!! It was only yesterday that I registered on BLOGSVERTISE, and have confirmed the issue myself. It says:
Avoid excessive ads & badges. Avoid "hire me" or "get paid to post" badges, bubbles, and avoid copy & pasted disclosure policies. If you feel obligated to tell your readers that you particpate with blog ad services, use your own words for your disclosure.
Best: Its best/ideal to just completely remove/delete a pre-written disclosure policy you have copied and pasted from other services and put something in your own words. Or better yet just delete the disclosure policy entirely. It is best to not display any "hire me" or "get paid to post" badges.
Lost Pagerank: If you have already lost your pagerank and it fell to zero, it is best to just start a new blog on a new domain/url, and start fresh. It will take a few months for your blog to obtain pagerank again, but if its not full of hire me badges, bubbles, and disclosure policies, it should avoid having its pagerank removed. Check our other help tips for suggestions on increasing your task rates and making your blog more popular.
Again it is best to avoid and delete any type of pre-written copy and pasted disclosure policy.
I am not a Medical Practitioner, nor I did study medicine either! The main reason I have became interested to know about our LIVER, since my uncle had undergone liver surgery last 2 months ago. It was a serious case, a life-threatening! I didn't know the whole story as to how, when and what caused him to have had this kind of illness.
Did he manage to survive? YES, and been taking his medications!
Liver failure is a condition that occurs when large parts of the liver become damaged beyond repair and the liver is no longer able to function. This a life-threatening condition that demands urgent medical care. Most often liver failure occurs gradually and over many years.
We must realize these basic causes of damaging our LIVER:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."
Because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm: Is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an un-relaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health. Evening at 11pm - 1am: Is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3am: Detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am: Detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am: Detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel. Morning 7 - 9am: Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

I have noticed for these past couple of days that my brain hasn't been working properly, I needed it to be able to write good articles for my blogs! It started when I got 3 opps from PPP and it took me 3 hours to finish my first article (300 words)!!
I wonder what was wrong with me... thought there must be something!!... So out of my curiosity, I have searched something like "ways to exercise brain" / "brain exercise", etc...I didn't take it seriously as I've had to finish my articles and submit them soonest otherwise I would have lost them!
WHAT A COINCIDENCE......
When this morning I got an email from one of my friends, some sort of reminder! Why do I say a reminder? Because I should say that these health tips are very basic, that we might heard them from people around but we just ignore them. See, we tend to ignore things we hear very often without realizing how crucial they were for our health!
"10 BIGGEST BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS"
By:
Dr. Muhammad Imran Yousuf Lecturer Division of Continuing Education University of Arid Agriculture, Pakistan 1. No Breakfast - Due to our busy schedule, we normally forget to take the breakfast. People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration. > I don't eat breakfast at all, geezzzz this means that my brain hasn't been working properly! No wonder I do feel empty sometimes.
2.Overeating - This is most usual cause, most of the times we find tasty food and start eating more that what our body requires. It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking - I never smoke, but I put this in the list as a message to those who smoke “PLEASE STOP SMOKING” because it causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease in later life.
4. High Sugar consumption - Extra Sweets! Must minimize eating chocolates? Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution - This is the common problem, wherever you go, you are welcome with the polluted air, that’s pathetic. As the brain is the largest oxygen consumer of the body, and inhaling the polluted air will decrease the supply of oxygen to the brain, thus there will be a have damage to the brain. So try to be away from the polluted air.
6. Sleep Deprivation - Attention all bloggers who stay up to the late hours to do write-ups, drop EC's, to be able achieve any goals, this is bad for us!! Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells. Oh! more cells dead, more loss of memory.
7. Head covered while sleeping - Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness - Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts - Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.So think more, write more, explore more all this will help you to keep your brain fresh.
10. Talking Rarely - Intellectual conversation promote efficiency of the brain. So be active participants in the meetings and get-togethers. I always talk more then required so no problem.
Oriental Food Shop in Canterbury is the only place we know closer to where we live in UK, where to buy Filipino foods. They sell most Asian foods like Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Thai, etc, but you could only find selected products. THEY DON'T HAVE ONLINE MARKET!
I don't know how importation in the UK or exportation laws in the Philippines that would probably affect the type of products they are allowed to sell out in the market. Well, I know for the fact that not all our local products (Philippine products) are of "Export Quality", you can always see that at the back or in front of its packaging and also, perhaps the products they might be selling are only those ones from selected manufacturers who have direct contacts with this particular Asian Foods importer in the Canterbury!
In some stage when we were in UK the last time, we were looking for an online Filipino store where you could just sit down and do your shopping online! My hubby just love Filipino foods, and we always find our own local taste don't we? I was overwhelmed to have found this PINOY MINIMALL where we buy Filipino foods online. This would only mean, that we dont' need to go to Canterbury anymore.
UK delivery of £3.99 for orders up to 30kg.
Not expensive though.... They sell noodles (Lucky Me my hubby's favorite), rice noodles, sauces and flavorings, sardines, dried goods (dried mangoes), CHIPPY, Sunsilk shampoos, Creamsilk, biscuits, etc...
~~~I am getting so excited, as it happened for the very first time in my "blogging for pay"...
I have started posting sponsored posts, paid posts from advertising companies like special mention to these two (PPP, Smorty) only two weeks ago! So far so good, I have been approved on all the posts I have had gotten to write about. I did not know before if they really pay or not, and how often do they pay?
I tell you what, for the very first time I got my first payment thru PAYPAL from SMORTY, which I realized thay they pay on a weekly basis. This was my post regarding "Nintendo Games", only one! hahahaha..
"If you snooze, you loose"... this is what happened why I only got one opp so far!, well better luck next time...
And........here's an update of my PPP posts.....EXCITING!!!
Since I started blogging, I have managed to make a very long bloggers' / friends' list / blog roll which I couldn't figure out how to shorten it by adding a scroll bar! In the end, I found a different way, and have transferred my long list through Blogrolling, explaining you on "How to Create an Automatic Scroll Blogroll". I was quite happy about it at the beginning, until I realized my other list was getting very long as well!
HERE'S THE EFFORTLESS TECHNIQUE ON HOW TO DO IT - you need this codes below:
NOTE: 1) Make sure to replace the signs () to <>after copying, as the codes may appear blank when I leave them as ease, and have found a solution. 2) You can play with the WIDTH and the HEIGHT according your requirements.
(div style="OVERFLOW: auto; WIDTH: 250px; HEIGHT: 200px")(table style="HEIGHT: 200px" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0")(tbody)(tr)(td) In the middle - Blogger's URL if to create Blog Roll, other websites codes, or posts if to create a scroll bar on your posts, you can do it as well.... (/td)(/tr)(/tbody)(/table)(/div)
Question: What about if I have made my blog roll through blogspot widget/gadget - "List" (being done by adding the link and put the name!).... SIMPLE!!
1) Add another widget/gadget, click "HTML/JAVA SCRIPT", copy the codes above in GREEN, leave the middle section open for the URL's/links.
2) Click VIEW on your browser (located on top left), click PAGE SOURCE for Mozilla Firefox and SOURCE for Internet Explorer. Please see illustration below photo. Find the title of your blog roll and just simply COPY all the links in the format as shown below. Again, I had to change the <> to ().
<li><a href="http://address.com/")Name(/a)(/li)
Thanks to Belle for giving me some time to teach how to do it. As you can see on illustration above, those are samples on what it may look like, an easy way out to make a "user friendlypage".
Well, you may have noticed that most of my links/lists/websites are now with scroll bars. If you want to clarify something, feel free to contact me.
The moment we decided to acquire this land, the next question was how was the procedure and all the costs to be incurred in terms of papers, attorneys fees, taxes, etc...
We trusted my father to work it out for us! In fact, he already contacted a lawyer who happened to be my grandfather's friend. First advantage, would less likely for us to pay extra money (this is what we called as "under the table" to be able to get done). Second, rest assured that all documentations we or my father is going to sign all legal. Correct me if I am wrong, but I didn't mean to say that the rest are unreliable! Our main concern is, get everything done without worrying anything, in short...
We never bought any property direct from the seller before, so we need to know exactly who's paying what? We acquired a house and lot four years ago, but it was through real estate agent, all we had to do was to pay and the rest was theirs.
Below is the detailed list of fees, percentage and who's paying what.
There should be some legalities to be taken into consideration before finally transferring ownerships in both parties! Talking about ownership, my husband is quite worried really if POSSIBLE TO BE NAMED AS CONJUGAL PROPERTY "MR. & MRS SELLS", and the like. This will be the next thing we should know.
Legal Procedures in transfer of title (land and apartments)
Owner and Buyer agree on sale of a piece of land. Through a lawyer, a Deed of Absolute Sale (DOAS) is created and notarized.
A Land Tax Declaration is secured from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and submitted to the city or municipal Assessor’s office.
Buyer pays real estate tax to the City Treasurer’s Office.
The Assessors office assesses the market value of the property.
Transfer taxes are paid by the buyer to the Assessors Office.
Capital Gains Tax and Documentary Stamp tax are paid to BIR.
The Registry of Deeds (RD) cancels old title and issues a new one in the name of the buyer.
The buyer, now the new owner, obtains a photocopy of the new title and requests tax declaration from the Assessors office.
Ownership is evidenced by the Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) in the case of single houses and raw land, and The Land Registration Act requires the owners of property to register titles with the Registry of Deeds. The titles must be registered in the same province as the property. However, the records are inaccurate in such that overlapping might exist. There is a proliferation of fake and double titles. The completion of survey of all the lands in the country, mandated by the 1903 Public Land Law, is nowhere in sight.
The whole process of registering property may take around 33 days to complete eight procedures.
Value Added Tax
No. 8763 wherein the price ceiling per unit is P750,000.00 or as may from time to time be determined by the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA);
Sale of real properties utilized for socialized housing as defined under R.A. No. 8763, wherein the price ceiling per unit is P225,000.00 or as may from time to time be determined by the HUDCC and the NEDA and other related laws;
GUIMARAS is known to be the Mango Country of the Visayas. I only became aware of this place in Iloilo, in fact it was actually my first time to hear this place, when we started collecting information in Mango Plantation. Well, I heard that the origin of these mango trees at the plot we just bought is from NEGROS! Might be from Guimaras right?
Guimaras mangoes are considered as one of the sweetest in the world and the only mango variety in the Country certified as pest-free by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The variety of mangoes produced are also best for making dried mangoes, jams and other delicacies. The best time to enjoy Guimaras’ mangoes is during the Manggahan Festival held every May 22 to commemorate the province’s charter day.
Guimaras Island is a favored destination by both foreign and domestic tourists because of its picturesque beaches, waterfalls, springs, off shore islets, and its famous mangoes, which is considered one of the sweetest in the world. Guimaras is an island province of the Philippines located in the Western Visayas region. Among the smallest and youngest provinces, its capital is Jordan. The island is located in the Panay Gulf, between the islands of Panay and Negros.
Geography - Guimaras is located Southwest of Panay Island and Northwest of Negros Island in Western Visayas with a total land area of 60,465 hectares or 604.65 square kilometers. The island province of Guimaras is composed of five towns: Buenavista (36 barangays), Nueva Valencia (22 barangays), Jordan (14 barangays), San Lorenzo (12 barangays), and Sibunag (12 barangays).
Population - The population of Guimaras as of the year 2000 was 141, 450 with an average annual growth rate of 2.48%.
Language / Dialect - Hiligaynon is the main language of the natives although residents of some barangays in Jordan and Nueva Valencia also speak Kinaray-a. English and Tagalog are spoken and understood by the majority of the people in the island.
Major Industries - Tourism, handicraft, food processing, agriculture, and fishing are the major industries of Guimaras. It has scenic and magnificent white sand beaches and island coves. It has the best diving site with its splendid coral reefs and marine life, which are impressing to the sight. The island is also famous for handicrafts like woven “buri” bags, mats, hats, and baskets. It is also famous for its lime industry, mining industry, fruit processing industry, and coconut industry. Guimaras is home of the famous and the best export-quality mangoes in the Philippines. Mango plantations bearing their golden fruits are scattered in the island. Aside from mangoes, kalamansi and cashew nuts are also abundant. Moreover, the seas of Guimaras teem with fresh fishes, shellfishes, and lobsters. Guimaras also produces a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, orchids, and root crops.
Guimaras Is Famous For...
Beaches and Coves - Guimaras is known for its splendid white sand beaches and island coves. The seas of Guimaras teem with fresh fishes, shellfishes, and corals.
What do we know about Mango Plantation? How we are going to manage that piece of success we are about to embrace, when and how we are going to take our first step in facing all the challenges in Mango business world, in the middle of global crisis! This is mainly one of the reasons why we had to pushed through in buying particularly this property, was due to the fact that diamond industry has hit to bottom, thus, our company soon realized that it is not worth spending the ratio of 20 while only earning of 5. Have written about "Diamond Industry Holds Crisis".
We already have accepted the fact, that one day we all going home, possibly in 3 to 4 months time! Needless to say, we have to think about our future, of what we could do in terms of investment, despite of what is happening globally!
As what I have written in my other blog, we won a lottery! LOL, kidding aside... That we managed to acquire a "next to nothing" property in BOHOL, Philippines (province where I come from). Please read the whole story at "Mango Plantation - Our Business In The Near Future". We do have mixed emotions right now, though the sale hasn't been finalized yet.We both have made some research about Mango Plantation/Growing Mangoes in the Philippines, which luckily have found some useful information we would have needed to manage our own.
