It never came to our interest to visit PALAU island, though my husband loves staying by the beach, spend at least a week in every places we like to visit. I heard about it when I learned that one of my college classmates actually worked there for almost 3 yeas, she first chatted with me and told me her stories, the island and the people in this island. Sounds interesting, I should say.. I have searched about it and found out the story behind.
The island is eight miles around and full of bicycle paths that enable easy exploring of pristine coves, hidden valleys, and white sandy beaches. Only 80 people live here and all are very friendly. English is spoken by all and the US dollar is used. There are no stores, hotels, or restaurants on the island but nor with crimes, poisonous snakes, or tropical storms. In short, it has everything you could want in a remote Pacific island.
Gorgeous isn't it?
